Mass Spectrometry-Based Proteomic Analysis
Mass spectrometry-based proteomics starts with annotation of spectra by simulating fragmentation of a peptide and matching observed peaks to fragments. The quantitation step aims to measure absolute or relative protein levels such as differences in protein abundance between two or more sample groups.
Requirements
- Mass spectrometry and metadata of samples.
Deliverables
- List of annotated spectra and spectral counts.
- List of significant differentially expressed proteins.
- Functional enrichment of differentially expressed proteins.
