Genome Wide Interaction Analysis

Genome Wide Interaction Analysis (GWIA) involves testing pairs of interacting single nucleotide variants (SNVs) for their association with a binary/quantitative trait or a disease in a case–control study. GWIA is a valuable method for finding the remaining missing heritability undetected by Genome Wide Association Analysis (GWAA).

Requirements
  • Genotypic and phenotypic data files

Deliverables
  • List of SNV pairs and their corresponding degrees of association with the phenotype.
  • Functional enrichment of genes overlapping significantly associated SNV pairs.
