Genome Wide Association Analysis
Genome Wide Association Analysis (GWAA) investigates the entire genome and identifies single nucleotide variants (SNVs) associated with a binary/quantitative trait or a disease in a case–control study. Ideally, GWAA includes a complementary step of identifying genes overlapping with the associated SNVs functional enrichment of these overlapping genes.
Requirements
- Genotypic and phenotypic data files.
Deliverables
- List of SNVs and their degrees of association with the phenotype.
- Functional enrichment of genes overlapping significantly associated SNVs.
